	Pastor Gary is back from sabbatical.
	*Congratulations to Rob & Robin (Valentine) King on the birth of their son Cody Oscar King on July 10th.
	* A group from our church went to the northwest territories for an "On Eagle's Wings" mission trip for a week to teach bible school. They returned July 6th.
	* Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jerry Sundberg on the death of his father. His funeral was held July 8th at French River Lutheran Church.
	* Check out our library -New table, reading area,and some good books! (Anyone interested in starting up a library group to freshen it up, add some new books, etc. contact Carleen)

Lector & Ushers needed

Sign up and be a part of worship this summer! What's a Lector?? That is the person who reads the bible lessons for the day. What's an usher? They greet people at the door and hand out the bulletins, and collect and bring up the offering. Sign up is in the Nathex table.

14th Annual Lutheran Night

at the Twins: Tuesday, Aug. 19 7:10 pm. Minnesota Twins versus the Seattle Mariners. Support the work of Habitat for Humanity. Upper General Admission tickets: $6, which includes a $1 donation to Habitat. Order at 1-800-338-9467.

Women's Fellowship Circle

Thursday, July 10th at 9:00am. Meet at Family of God and we will car pool over to Joyce Zimm's for lunch. Bring a dish to share.

	We have purchased a new copy machine for the church office. The total cost is $3000. If anyone would like to donate to the copy machine fund, please mark your donation as such and place in the offering plate on Sunday or send to the church. Thank you so much!

	Potluck
	The Church Council and Ministry Formation Team would like to invite everyone to a potluck on *Wednesday, August 20 at 6 PM.* The team who went to "On Eagle's Wings" will show us more slides and talk about their trip. Then Pastor Gary will share some of his summer experiences while on sabbatical. Please mark your calendar and come join us for this fun-filled evening.

	21st Annual Bike For World Hunger
	Saturday, September 6th. Bike 70 along the Munger Trail from Duluth to Barnum and back. More information to come.
