Sign up and be a part of worship this summer! What's a Lector?? That is the person who reads the bible lessons for the day. What's an usher? They greet people at the door and hand out the bulletins, and collect and bring up the offering. Sign up is in the Nathex table. |

Sandwich Loaf Luncheon |
|
|
Our "Second Annual" Sandwich Loaf Luncheon will be held at noon on Saturday, May 17. The "Just Friends" musical group will entertain and there will be special items sold in a "Silent Auction". Pastor Gary, Julie Fredrickson, Dennis & Tina Korte and Andrew Lucero from Waters of Life will be flying to Northern Canada to teach bible school for a week at the "On Eagle's Wings" mission. The monies from this luncheon will help defray their expenses. Each volunteer pays their travel expenses. We have helped to support On Eagle's Wings mission for many years now. Tickets for the luncheon are available in the church office or from members of the Outreach Committee. It will be necessary to have a count by Wednesday, May 14 so please buy your ticket early or call and reserve a spot at church 724-9210, Shirley Sholund 724-4725 or Clarice Turcotte 724-8784. |

Church Softball |

Any members interested in the summer softball league please sign up by calling the church office. A special invitation is extended to new members. Softball is a great way to meet people in the church in a casual and fun atmosphere. Everyone 10 years old and up is welcome. Games are played Tuesday evenings at UMD fields and the first game is June 2nd. Any questions, please Don Erickson at 724-1591 or Ed Fuhs at 525-2579.

On June 1st, we will be wrapping our high school graduates in God's love and a quilt. If you have a child who is graduating and would like to help make a quilt for them, please contact Carleen at church. Those I have listed as graduating are Leanna Albertson, Brandon Anderson, Alex Cuzzo, Maxine Lemaster, Molly Prudden, Shelby Ryberg, Lita Torgerson and Stephen Voelkner. We also honor college graduates who have not received a high school quilt in the past so we add Tina Korte to our list. If I have missed any high school or college graduates, please contact the church office. |
